Bodies of Easter Island’s Famous Heads Revealed

via holykaw.alltop.com Saw this article and it made me think about one of my favorite shows ... Ancient Aliens! The bigger the rock lifted into the air, the more questions about how the monolith was transported and erected. Okay, so there are no alien artifacts showing up at this excavation. But, I really do enjoy watching those shows and wondering about why man has done the things we've done throughout history. Posted via email from Annalee Blysse @ posterous on posterous.

Runs like a girl...

When I was kid, 30-40 years ago, saying things like "you run like a girl" or "atta girl" when someone screwed up in a sports game was pretty much standard. It was an insult meaning the person was a wimp. Judging people by today's cultural standards is useless. Kids these days are too young to know the change in attitudes, but older people on the Left should recognize the changes.

Wizardry is on the way...

There is a hint of wizardry to come over at Amazon via Kindle today...

Well, it isn't exactly much of a hint. Here's another blog post from someone even more curious. They apparently contacted Amazon and were told that they'd just have to wait and see.

Suppose it makes sense that there is going to be some kind of app for Kindle, and more specifically the Kindle Fire. Why wouldn't there be? I really enjoy my Kindle Fire, in part for the apps/games it allows me to play. In the creation of Pottermore, they wouldn't even need to be as wise as an owl to include Amazon and thus Kindle users. Though, I can't see myself participating if there is a monthly fee, I think it would be a great move.
