Mmm Cozy Tree

mmm cozy tree, originally uploaded by outdoorknit.

I never heard of knit graffiti until I found Knittas: New York Gangsta Graffiti Knitters on The Thinking Blog. I found Knitta on flickr and surfed a bit and found this picture of a tree cozy by outdoorknit.

Another Pretty Chicken with Blue Feet

I was watching "Who Wants to be a Millionaire" the other day and the trivia question asked what expensive food animal had blue feet.

Blue Foot Chicken was the answer.

The only reason I got the answer right was because it made sense that bird's legs can be different colors whereas the other options (like pig) don't have limbs or feet that are a different color from the rest of their body.

Then some guy missed the question asking which state does Tennessee share the Great Smokey Mountains with along the border.

One of the options was Kentucky.

He said that he didn't even think that Kentucky and Tennessee shared a border.

I was thinking the need to increase minimum requirements for high school graduation.

Then ... he answered Kentucky and lost his money.

He had to have been extremely nervous.

I knew North Carolina was the answer because my Kindergarten teacher had a wooden block puzzles of the United States, and well, also because I have visited both Tennessee and North Carolina and remembered.

Cool Art Site

Thumbtack Press
So Hip It Hurts

I found a Site for artist's to sell their wares (art prints) yesterday following an advertisement link on Thumbtack Press has a wide variety of styles available, but they don't feature more artists than they can list. They say they are picky, and they mean it. The gallery does prove to have some wonderful, strange, and wonderfully strange prints available from a variety of artists.
